DEC 2024
This was our Christmas meeting with lots of nibbles on the table. Mick said that our Nov show was another great and busy event. The next one in March is virtually fully booked. This is the last club meeting that I will be Chairman (after 45 years) and it will be taken over by Bryan Harris.
Tonight we hold a connoisseurs raffle in which every member gets a free ticket. On the right is a picture of prizes.

Johnny Hodgson bought the Aldershot lid at BBR auction.
The 2 flagonsWatney Combe Reid and Junior Army & Navy Stores belonged to Guy who bought them on Ebay. Dave bought the other flagon and it had the Emily Gibbons name printed on base.
The green poison from Yateley was Gregs find in a junk shop. He also brought along the unusual Ruberoid Cement pot. The stoneware slabseal vets from Lincoln was David's Ebay find. The Xmas decorated ball was actually a WW1 fire grenade brought along by Graham.
