JAN 2019 - 40th anniversary

Start of a new year and as usual the club's AGM.
Mick reported that 2018 had been another highly successful year for the club with the popularity of the shows. The treasurer reported that our bank balance is healthy and so we can reward our members for their support. £10 will be given to club members who attend the club dinner next month towards the cost of their meal. In June the Fish and Chip supper will be paid for by the club as well. The officers and committee were all voted back in.

2019 will be the 40th year that the club has been running. Way back in 1979 who could have envisaged it would still be running today.

There were not many finds on the table this evening but hopefully as the year progresses we wil be back to normal.

First the blue top ginger beer ARLISS ROBINSON LINDUM WORKS SUTTON. This is a Bourne Denby piece bought by Neil on Ebay.
The small COURAGE KEG MILD clock was one of Mick's finds in a job lot from a house. Pity the 2 is missing from the 12.

Bryan was pleased with his codd R E TIGAR, LATE ALLEN & SONS BASINGSTOKE. Apparently this is quite a scarce bottle. The Allen being part of the famous Allen & Lloyd of Aldershot.
