JAN 2020 |
The first meeting of the new year and the annual AGM. The chairman Mick told the members that it had been another good year for the club. Our 40th anniversary shows had gone down well and as always were fully booked. The treasurer was pleased to announce that are finances were in a good postion and that there would be no increase to stall rents or admission charges again in 2020. The finds table was a bit sparce which reflects on the time of year. David brought along the BUNGALOW FOOT WARMER which he dug a couple of days before Christmas. It comes complete with original stopper and looks in good condition, Unfortunately it has a crack in it. C'est la vie! George brought along two good condition split size codds that he had recently acquired. The first was a pictorial skittle codd from GOLDBERG & ZEFFER, JOHANNESBURG. Bottle made by Willian Barnard. The second was W FURZE of UFFCULME. bottle manufactured by the South Wales glass company. Uffculme is a village in Devon. |
