JUNE 2022
Tonight we had one of our fish and Chips evenings. The last meeting until we restart again in September.
On the finds table were 3 rare cream pots that Mick recently acquired. All in excellent condition. Never seen any of these before.
Next 3 Allen & Lloyd bottles with description underneath.

George brought along the large blue poison,  together with a glass Allen & Lloyd GB and transferred Allen & Lloyd GB, which he picked up in a charity shop, (as pictured in the competition entries).
The next 3 items were Grahams, a job lot from a secondhand shop. The first was an glass int screwed top bottle INSTANTANEOUS PLATE CLEANER WALKER & HALL. The second a CHAS & INMAN, LEEDS green beer and THOMPSON MINERAL HIGH WYCOMBE.  The interesting thing is that one of them is a Rylands bottle and the other maker Dale Brown & co ltd, Swinton. Must admit none of us has heard of that bottle maker before. The small brown bottle about 3 inches tall also came with the job lot but know nothing about it. Finally Neil brought along his BASINGSTOKE MINERAL WATER GB, which he got from an auction.
The evenings competition was for a glass and stoneware bottle from the same firm.

1st Bryan - Allen & Lloyd

2nd Mick - R White
