MAR 2023 |
The last meeting before
the March Bottle Show. All fully booked and all looking forward to it.
Just hope the snow has all gone and we have a fine day. Jordon brought along the BROOKES & CO lid which he dug. Must be quite a scarcity. Another of his dug finds was this unusual J HOVENDEN wigmakers head mould dating around 1880. He also brought along the J SALMON & SONS poison bottles in two sizes. On to Jordons minerals. First the lovely blue BRADFORD BROS NEWCASTLE flat bottom hamilton. The green HALL BREWERY ELY codd and the BARRETT GIGANTIC & CO LTD green cylinder. The small handled jug was Daves £1 buy from a car boot. The HOUNSOME PETERSFIELD GB was another of his finds. Was completely covered in dirty oil when he bought it. Finally his small size HARTRIDGE HAMBLEDON bullet stopper. Never seen the small one before. |
