MAY 2024

On the finds table tonight we had a lovely early impressed flagon G COLE, COACH & HORSES, ST CLEMENTS, OXFORD  plus a large brown jug. Eric picked these up at an auction.
Mick picked up the MELBOURNE WARNER when he was down in Australia. Not quite same embossing as the normal Warners.
Royston brought along the green ginger jar. He reckons it dates around 1890 to 1900. He also brought along The 2 bottle openers dating around WW2.
The group of 4 bottles was an interesting bunch. The bottom one was embossed KINGS CURATE OF MAGNESIUM and the N in Kings was back to front. These were bought by David off of Facebook.
Graham brought along the hamilton. It was impossible to read the embossing but apparently came out of the river Dee.
The good condition beer was R E TIGAR, LATE ALLEN & LLOYD & SONS, BASINGSTOKE. A RARE BOTTLE BOUGHT BY NEIL AT KIDLINGTON.
