On the finds table was the BRIDGWATER WINE
& BRANDY MERCHANTS flagon and the BRADLEY & BLISS, READING AND
PORTSMOUTH POT. Both of these great condition items were bought by Dave
in an antique shop. Apparently the Bradley & Bliss chemist is still
going since the 1880's. Mick brought along the 6oz ALLEN & LLOYD codd. This size is rarely seen compared to the very common standard size, John brought the TIMOTHY WHITE PORTSMOUTH footwarmer. David brought large oct ink which he dug plus the WARRENS ST MARTINS LANE CHARING CROSS blacking pot. His last item was the RICHMOND HILL DAIRY pot which he purchased at the Surrey show. |
