Back again after our summer break. There were a lot of items on finds
table. First was Mick's lovely condition FENN & CO FARNHAM flagon, printed on both sides. Also the HARRIS'S CREAM POT. Both bought from a local market. The first 2 codds SOUTH DOWN EAST GRINSTEAD and JOHN GRUNDY STOCKPORT were Georges purchases at a charity shop. Georges third one was a modern one with a star on front. Dave brought along the 2 local bullet stoppers from a car boot sale. WEST SURREY MINERAL WATER GODALMING and F WHEELERS GUILDFORD. David picked up the next 2 once again from a car boot sale. PERKINS and BAGGS BROTHERS, both from Portsmouth. Dave also brought along this black glass bottle with a seal ALSTON. Could well have been an old spirit bottle. Apparently it was bought at an auction, in an old tomato box as part of a job lot of planes, hub caps, paint, chisels etc. Amazingly it never got damaged. Alston in in Cumbria and if anyone has any information on this bottle please let us know. Joe brought in this small Toby Alton plastic badge. Another of Georges charity shop finds was the Doulton foot warmer with original screw stopper. |
